Acceptable Use & Customer Responsibility Policy
1. Purpose
Cheetah Smart ERP is intended to help legitimate businesses manage their operations. Customers must use the Service responsibly, lawfully and in accordance with these rules.
2. Customer Responsibility
Customer is responsible for information entered into the Service, the accuracy of business information, user permissions, account credentials, authorized users, appropriate use of the Service, maintaining independent records of critical information, and compliance with laws applicable to Customer's business.
3. Administrator Responsibility
Customer's administrator is responsible for maintaining accurate company and user information, assigning appropriate access permissions, removing former or unauthorized users, maintaining account security, and reviewing information entered into the system.
4. Plan and User Responsibility
Customer is responsible for selecting the appropriate subscription plan and for monitoring the number of active users.
Each plan includes a defined number of users. Additional users are billed at $25 per user per month as described in the Subscription, Billing & Cancellation Terms.
5. Authorized Users
Customer may allow employees and authorized representatives to access the Service according to the subscription plan.
Customer must not knowingly allow unauthorized persons to access the account and is responsible for activity performed by authorized users.
6. Prohibited Activities
Customer may not:
- Access another customer's account or data;
- Attempt to circumvent security controls;
- Probe or scan systems for vulnerabilities without authorization;
- Upload malicious code;
- Interfere with the Service;
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code;
- Resell the Service without authorization;
- Use the Service for unlawful activity;
- Abuse automated systems;
- Circumvent usage limitations;
- Upload information Customer has no legal right to use; or
- Create unreasonable risk to Cheetah or other customers.
7. Sensitive Information
Customers should not use Cheetah to store information that Cheetah specifically prohibits or that Customer does not have the legal right to process.
If Cheetah later supports regulated or highly sensitive data categories, additional agreements or technical requirements may apply.
8. Security Incidents
Customers must promptly notify Cheetah if they believe an account has been compromised, credentials have been stolen, unauthorized access has occurred, or Customer Data may have been exposed.
9. Enforcement
Cheetah may investigate suspected violations and temporarily suspend an account when reasonably necessary to protect Customer Data, other customers, Cheetah, the Service, or third-party systems.
Where appropriate, Cheetah will provide notice and an opportunity to correct the problem.
